Tom Hyde

Tom became associated with Management Recruiters International in 1992 and has operated this office from the Nashville suburb of Murfreesboro since 1994. On a personal note, he has a strong connection with Asia that comes from having studied, lived and worked in the region for the past 15 years. He was one of the first pair of American students to ever study at Hirosaki University in Aomori, Japan and later completed degree programs at National Taiwan Normal University, University of Tennessee at Martin, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tokyo's International Christian University.
After graduate school, he founded a company to market North American products in Asia and consult with Japanese firms in the establishment of international operations. After six years of monthly trans-Pacific round trips, he gave up the life of the road warrior and opened this office.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys the legally recognized state pastime of Tennessee, namely UT football. Go Vols!

Yukari Ishii 石井ゆかり

Yukari has been associated with the MRI organization since 1994 and is responsible for sales and support of all Japanese transplant company relationships. Yukari joined the company after a successful career as a motivational speaker and self-actualization counselor with Arc International. Prior to this, during her career at one of Japan's largest companies, she was the first female in Japanese trading company history to become a foreign exchange trader.
In her spare time, Yukari teaches at the Middle Tennessee Japanese Saturday School and stays up Saturday night catching up on Japanese soap operas. On Sundays, you can see her chasing golf balls at the local course.

Matt Sells

Matt joined the MRJapanese staff in November 2005 after working for 15 years in the steel industry in Operations Management. He spent several of those years in the steel industry with a Japanese steel company supplying automotive accounts.
Matt is native of Tennessee and when not working, he enjoys fishing with his three sons. He is also a dedicated youth football coach and loves spending weekends taking his sons to games.

Kazuo joined MRJapanese as Director after a long, successful career with the Toshiba Corporation. His accomplishments with Toshiba include: Business: P&L Responsibility for a $600 million budget. Quality: Successfully implemented Six Sigma. I.T.: Integrated MRP and SCM. Manufacturing: Leading-edge, high-density packaging technology for notebook computers in Toshiba's world-famous Ome Works. With this extensive Manufacturing and Management background, he works with our client companies to identify high-impact, outstanding staff.
He has lived in Murfreesboro since 2001 with his wife and his two sons. On a sunny day you can see him walking around with a big camera, shooting pictures of the town. He loves his Nikon D2H, his favorite professional, digital SLR camera.

Kiyomi Hamamoto 濱本清美

Kiyomi joined the MRJapanese staff in 2003 after
spending a couple of years in a successful career with a well
known International staffing firm in based in Japan and the US.
After completing her degree in American English
at Kansai Junior College of Foreign Language,
Kiyomi enjoyed the luxury of living in Hawaii for
four years where she completed a degree in Hotel
Operations from the The University of Hawaii/
Kapiolani Community College.
Before joining MRJapanese, Kiyomi had an
opportunity to provide on-site bilingual services
for automotive manufacturing giants. Kiyomi
continues to apply this understanding and hands-
on experience from the manufacturing setting
here at MRJapanese, allowing her the ability to
quantify candidate capacity in many ways. Kiyomi
has become well-known for her unique ability
to monitor for the highly-differentiated profiles
provided by the companies she works with and
fulfill their human capital needs.
Recently Kiyomi visited Maui again for her 1st wedding
anniversary in May. She still enjoys daily
jogging to prepare for her annual vacation in Hawaii.
She is also well known for speaking Japanese
in her Kyoto accents with her Aloha spirit.

Rob Thomas

Rob joined MRJapanese in October of 2005. He is a focused account manager developing a strong client base of only the best companies. Rob has been very successful building strong relationships with senior management and executives allowing for strong partnerships between MRJapanese and our clients. His recruiting experience ranges from greenfield start-ups, staffing entire R&D centers from start to finish, highly complex searches with very specialized and narrowed focuses, and also sourcing exceptional mid-level staff. C-Level, VP, director, engineering, IT, sales, finance/accounting, and several other categories are examples of positions most commonly filled.
With a degree in aviation management, a father who is a retired Gulfstream V pilot, and a sales background from Dell, Rob has been the perfect addition to advance our growth in aerospace and information technology.
During his down time you will find Rob preparing for his wedding scheduled for October of 2009 "Go Rob!", spending time with his son at football and baseball practice, his daughter at gymnastics and dance, and building his real estate portfolio, when time permits.

Dara Thomas

Dara, a native Tennessean, joined MRJapanese in 2006. Dara spearheaded the development of our Life Sciences desk which she now manages. She greatly enjoys working with clients to solve the missing link and assisting skilled professionals find the fit they've been looking for.
Dara holds her Bachelor's in Integrated Marketing Communication which she earned at Pepperdine University. Her best experiences from Pepperdine include her year abroad in Italy and marketing internships with two major record labels... not to mention living across the street from the beach. Though she misses Southern California, Dara is glad to be back in the South with her family and friends. When not hard at work, you'll find Dara spending time with loved ones, cooking, going to concerts and traveling when she has the chance.

Originally from New Jersey, Ginny has lived in the Nashville area since 1989. She spent 16 years in the IT field - most recently serving as a Project Manager for a national IT solutions provider - prior to joining MRISearch in January 2008.
Her commitment to customer service, building relationships, problem-solving, and attention to detail are all assets used in her focus on uniting innovative organizations across the U.S. with exceptional technical, sales, business development, and management professionals. Although her searches span various industries, her desk specialties include Industrial Automation and Genetics.

Susan Reed

After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Computer Science, Susan joined IBM, spending 10 years in various technical and management positions. She later ran a small business for 7 years. This blend of large and small company experience gives Susan a unique perspective on what makes a great employee. Technical ability and experience are equally important to positive attitude and strong work ethic. Susan's goal is to find high quality candidates so her clients can focus on what they do best: develop and manufacture high quality products and increase market share. Susan listens to her clients carefully, gathering all job requirements. She then utilizes her 15 year network and candidate database, heavily screening all candidates to ensure they have the necessary skills for each position. Prior to joining MRJapanese Clint gained experience in ministry, teaching, and coaching. These past experiences combined with his zeal and passion for life have equipped him to tenaciously provide solutions that benefit everyone involved in the relationships he makes.
In his free time, Clint enjoys wrestling with his two sons and cooking for his beautiful wife. He also dabbles in studio production and even had 15 minutes of fame on MTV!

MRJapanese welcomed Akiko to the team in 2003 after she earned a business degree from Martin Methodist College. Her extensive experience as a Technical Translator at Japanese automotive manufacturers creates the backdrop for her success here at MRJapanese.
By utilizing her bilingual and administrative skills to create the best match between client and candidate, Akiko effectively responds to our clients’ immediate and long-term needs. Her ultimate goal is to offer the most comprehensive and efficient search and recruitment services available anywhere.
Away from work, Akiko enjoys traveling, cooking, and golfing. Though she misses her family and friends in Japan, she enjoys living in beautiful Tennessee.

Chizuko came to the United States in 2008. While living in Japan she studied psychology and managed and supplemental school for a wide variety of age groups. She began her Recruiting career in Tokyo within the pharmaceutical and medical industries. After arriving in Tennessee, Chizuko resumed her career. Recruiting is rewarding for Chizuko because she loves working to create a great match between candidates and clients. Her belief is that a professional.s job should bring a sense of satisfaction, so she strives to find the best connections possible to leave everyone happy with the outcome.
Chizuko loves to travel whenever possible and spent 6 months trekking through Europe and the United States. You may see her on a train, plane, or automobile with a book in hand, or combing through beaches with her family.

After teaching conversational English and working as a Translator in Japan, Misato moved to the United States with her husband. They moved to Colorado and Ohio, where Misato worked as a personal banker and loan officer before settling down in Tennessee. Here at MRJapanese, Misato utilizes her bilingual skills and shares her business expertise with her colleagues.
In the summer, you will find Misato enjoying water sports and relaxing on her boat. Once the weather forces her indoors, she spends her time painting, reading books, or playing piano.

Amy joined MRJapanese in 2007 after receiving her marketing and business administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. During college, Amy participated in many philanthropic events aiding in Arthritis Research and led many positions for the Student Government Association. Amy worked as a customer service specialist in the Murfreesboro area prior to coming to MRJapanese.
In her current position, Amy is responsible for electronic marketing, database management, public relations, and serves as a community contact of the organization. She works with candidates and clients to unite qualifications and requirements to ensure a mutually beneficial match. She enjoys speaking with professionals on a daily basis from all over the United States and Japan.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys concert festivals, traveling, camping, cooking, water skiing, and decorating her new home that she purchased in 2007. While attending school, Amy participated in a Rotary Foreign Exchange Program and lived with a Swiss family in Switzerland.

Hiroko holds a B.A. in International Culture from Teikyo University, Japan. While in Japan, she worked in the automotive field as an Administrative Assistant for Nissan. After relocating to Murfreesboro, TN, Hiroko spent two years studying English before joining MRJapanese in December 2007.
In her spare time, Hiroko enjoys watching movies with her husband and reading books. She loves making wreaths and other crafts.

Jena Stilwell

Jena is a Summa Cum Laude Graphic Design graduate from UT Martin. During her time there, she was an honor society member and volunteered at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. In 2008, she joined Management Recruiters as a member of the Operations Team. Jena integrates her computer knowledge by testing new products and venturing into unknown territory to keep our office running smoothly.
As an NFIP member, Jena has participated in storm catastrophe work, including Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. She is an avid student of the Japanese language and won second place in the intermediate level in the Japanese Speech Contest at Vanderbilt University. Her hobbies include reading, art, and cooking, but she also loves sailing, playing disc golf, and traveling.

Jenna holds a Degree in Creative Writing from Millikin University. During college she was a published editor and the Head House Manager for the Kirkland Fine Arts Center. She served as an Athletic Director and High School English teacher before moving to Tennessee and joining the MRJapanese team in 2007.
Born and raised in Central Illinois, Jenna has been playing or coaching soccer for over 20 years. She and her husband love long road trips, writing songs together, and volunteering at Christian summer camps.
